New kitchen with bespoke cabinetry and bespoke colour for the units.

The family wanted a more sociable space with a comfortable dining area that didn't obstruct the route to the french doors and the garden... they also love to cook and required more fridge and storage space. The original kitchen was put in by the developers and didn't reflect the owners needs or tastes... the two double ovens in the tower format on the wall opposite the window (next to the door!) were not working for them either...

.....so we created a peninsula with stools on one side and a new, larger oven, creating both a sociable space and a safer, more suited cooking environment.  The space we gained by removing the ovens, now houses an american style fridge, a larder unit and overhead storage.

We had basic ideas of what we wanted. Sue did an incredible job of refining those ideas.  She created something of beauty and function.  We would never have chosen such a gorgeous colour palette, or have been able to source such ethical craftsmanship and local tradesmen.  Sue was always mindful of cost and we felt she provided a bespoke service that fully met our needs. Always a joy and inspiration, thank you Sue.  we are so very glad you were able to support us.  Onto the next room...!

....we also redesigned the seating and dining experience...

...previously a large but low sofa was along the wall, meaning the dining table was in the centre of the room restricting access to the garden, with nowhere for the owners book collection.  The owner suggested a banquette with storage for the books. Working together we designed a bespoke seating and shelving system with access to plugs for charging gadgets, deep shelving so the general appearance is neat and tidy and extra deep seating for reading but firm enough for dining, also with storage under the seats for the outdoor sofa cushions!
